01. Automation and OT Project Support

Support automation and Operational Technology (OT) projects throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, implementation, testing, and validation.

• Support feasibility studies for automation opportunities in manufacturing processes, including testing, data collection, and preparation of basic business cases and return-on-investment (ROI) assessments.
• Assist project teams and suppliers in developing technical solutions and preparing project documentation, including User Requirements Specifications (URS) and Functional Specifications (FS).
• Support project execution, including planning, material ordering, procurement, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), equipment setup, validation and qualification, documentation, change control coordination, training, and handover.
• Maintain and update OT asset inventories, system documentation, data backups, and OT network diagrams.

02. Documentation and Validation Support

Support the preparation and maintenance of project, validation, and technical documentation.

• Support project leaders in preparing and maintaining technical and Computerized System Validation (CSV) documentation, including process specifications and technical specifications.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining validation documents, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ).
• Support risk assessments, work instructions, change control documentation, and task status follow-up.
• Update and organize project records to maintain traceability throughout the project lifecycle, including the backup and storage of validation records.

03. Project and Vendor Coordination

Coordinate with production, procurement, vendors, and relevant teams to support project execution.

• Support project teams in vendor audits, assessments, and selection activities.
• Assist in preparing and coordinating global and local vendor visits.
• Provide basic support for automation and OT-related activities, including data backup, audits, validation software, and simple machine upgrades or improvements.

04. Reporting and Digitalization Support

Contribute to operational reporting, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Update relevant reports for stakeholders and ensure data is accurate and updated on time.
• Identify digitalization opportunities, plan implementation, and collaborate with relevant teams to optimize process flows and eliminate waste.
• Continuously learn and explore digital tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, SQL, Python, and AI to research, test, evaluate, and implement suitable solutions for the digital and smart manufacturing roadmap.
• Support operational teams in troubleshooting issues related to digital platforms and systems.

Education and Technical Background

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Technical background in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Machine Learning, or related disciplines.

Additional Advantages

The following qualifications and experience are advantageous but are not mandatory:

• A Master’s degree.
• Digitalization competencies, including designing, developing, building, and maintaining digital applications; proficiency in office and technology tools; and knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or VBA, as well as SQL programming.
• Knowledge of project management in manufacturing, particularly in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or environments following ISO 13485.
• Experience in automation, Operational Technology (OT), digitalization, production, or manufacturing environments.
